VANGUARD INTERSCHOOL ENGINEERING — students, schools, one build
VISE exists because the best engineering ideas rarely come from one classroom. We pull students out of their home schools and put them on shared teams, working side by side with people they'd never otherwise meet — so every member leaves with a real portfolio, a real network, and proof they can build something with strangers who became collaborators.
We organize interschool project teams around real engineering problems — from robotics builds to civil design challenges — and give every team the structure, mentorship, and deadlines to actually ship something worth showing.
Teams form across school lines each cycle. Members meet weekly, document their process as they go, and finish with a portfolio piece and a demo — reviewed by mentors before it ever reaches a college application or an interview.
Engineering portfolios are usually built alone. Ours aren't. Every project on this site was built by a team that crossed school boundaries to make it — and every member's page is proof of that.
Every VISE member has a page. Filter by school, major, or year to find a project, or browse the full roster below.
